Originally from Venezuela, I have been living in the United States for the past 20 years with a recent stint in South Korea.
I am bilingual (English and Spanish) and have a Marketing and Sales background. I worked in sales in retail stores just as Coach Inc. for over 7 years and worked at Telemundo Houston as a Marketing Specialist for 4 years. Through my previous work experience, I excelled in building relationships and found joy while empathizing with customers. I also developed keen project management skills while liaising with over 130 businesses, managing a brand ambassador team and coordinating logistics for over 950 events.
All of this, as well as my creative and inquisitive nature, has led me into the world of UX Design.
As recent UX Designer graduate from DesignLab, I am able to empathize with users and leverage my creative problem-solving skills to drive businesses success and positively impact the lives of people in a meaningful way. Some of my strengths as a UX Designer are that I enjoy being able to empathize with users to get to know their needs and frustrations. I also enjoy the process of wireframing from sketching, to applying color and imagery to the interface design.
Some things that I love to do when I am not doing design...
Watching documentaries or movies (especially Harry Potter movies) with my friends and family. Singing, dancing in a Zumba class or practicing yoga, learning languages, about different cultures and traveling!
